~ The Origin Story ~
On the 19th of November 2017, a DSLR camera was propped up on a box atop a chair to record some
PlayStation 3 gameplay on a TV for uploading to YouTube. A silly notion, right?
Well, in hindsight, that's exactly what I would have said about my 16-year-old self.
Fast forward to this moment, and that very same day stands as the genesis of something great - something which was, and still is, beyond my wildest dreams. That something is none other than Shenz63 Gaming.
Since its inception, we have been blessed with the unwavering support of a diverse audience from all over the world and have evolved into the tightly-knit community which I am proud to call the Shenz63 Gamers.
The members of this clique are truly special people who have each other's backs and are always there to help out in whichever way possible, all while having a great time themselves.
Along with an amazing community has come a great deal of amazing content spanning various genres, from gaming videos and streams to unboxings, vlogs, fundraisers and builds as well! Terribly dry jokes, spontaneous moments of profoundness and unforgettable sights have become the norm of the channel, and I can guarantee that it is all too enjoyable to miss!
So, when I say that Shenz63 Gaming has something for everyone to enjoy, I am not lying!
Throughout the existence of Shenz63 Gaming, I have also been inspired to embark on several journeys which I never thought I would, and just being able to share this content with the world is something for which I have each and every one of you to thank.
Because of this, every day that I reflect on my decision to start up the channel brings me true joy. I love you all from the bottom of my heart, and I wish you only the best in all of your ventures!

THIS IS THE 2ND GENERATION!
~ A Logo With An Iconic Backstory ~
In December of 2019, Shenz63 Gaming underwent an incredible makeover from top to bottom. Part of this was the introduction of entirely new branding, something which I was highly excited to share with the community.
Pictured in this section is the brand-new logo for the channel, inspired by many a trait of mine and the core values of Shenz63 Gaming, culminating in a spectacular hybrid of creativity.
After much thought on these qualities and their connotative symbols through consultations with my wonderful duo of moderators (as you will read about below), we decided on the iconic phoenix as the central image of the channel.
Now, you might think, why the phoenix? Why not an eagle or a bear?
Well, let's find out!
1. Being a mythological creature, a phoenix is incredibly special simply by existing, just like the amazing community which we are so lucky to have here at Shenz63 Gaming.
This symbol stands to honour their ever-present support with a truly unique symbol of mythological proportions.
2. The astounding ability of a phoenix to literally rise from the ashes is something which I have drawn inspiration from and made an essential part of my life. This has fueled many of my messages to the community to never give up and continue moving forward, no matter the challenges
which may lay before them.
3. Lastly, the outstretched wings of the phoenix serve as a sign to show that as Shenz63 Gamers,
we are united as guardians in ensuring that every one of us is living our best life at all times.
By providing a platform for anyone at all to respectfully express themselves and ask for assistance whenever they may require it, we make this a reality.

If there is one thing which can be considered as the central ideology of the channel, it is that of appreciation for every single person who has helped develop this brand from its grassroots to the greatness which we are able to celebrate today.
While the face of the channel may well be Shenz63,
we simply cannot forget the amazing duo of moderators and the team captain whom have all contributed so much to every piece of content and decision that has seen us grow from strength to strength as a community over the years.
So, without further ado, let us all welcome the team behind Shenz63 Gaming!
SHANIL BHEEKA
~ a.k.a Shenz63 ~
As described by others, Shenz is an enthusiastic, compassionate, adventurous, self-motivated
and courageous young man.
However, in the spirit of authenticity, here is my introduction of myself to all of you out there who do not know me that well.
I, Shanil Bheeka, am a budding astronaut, gaming enthusiast and the creator of Shenz63 Gaming who holds the happiness of others very close to his heart.
For me, courage, strength and determination are
paramount traits to possess in a world where challenges are commonplace, and
these drive me to be my best every day.
I also place a great deal of priority on supporting others and helping out in any way possible, in addition to offering unconditional friendship to everyone around me.
And there you go - this is Shenz63 in a nutshell! I look forward to meeting you in some form or another! :)
JULIAN DU PLESSIS
~ a.k.a Mr Chipmunk ~
The man who almost requires no introduction to the viewers of Shenz63 Gaming live streams,
Julian is none other than one half of our spectacular duo of moderators.
On top of being one of my closest friends
and greatest supporters, he is a kind and loving guy with only the best interests of his friends, family and this entire community at heart.
Julian is also an avid Xbox gamer
and a potential pro player in my book (trust me, if you have seen some of his plays, you will believe it too)!
From me, I thank you massively for all of the work you have done behind the scenes which has inspired many a video and initiative created by this amazing brand.
Mr Chipmunk (as he is known on stream), we salute you and look forward to having you as a part of our community for many years to come!
DECLAN BOWRING
~ a.k.a Decs ~
By far one of the most adventurous and fun-loving guys out there, Declan is the other half of our stellar duo of moderators.
Besides bringing non-stop good vibes and precious tech information to the live stream chat, he has been a living example of the true power of perseverance to me. I have learnt so much from him and I hope that all of you do too!
Declan is a converted PC gamer, having been a PS4 player prior to his switchover.
From personal experience, I must say that
any gaming advice he provides anyone is worth a lot, especially if you watch some of his gameplay and analyse his game sense.
From me to you, Decs, thank you so much for your priceless input and support for my every venture ever since the inception of this brand. It means the world to me and we are all so grateful to have you as a part of our community here at Shenz63 Gaming.

~ a.k.a Co-Owners of MTG ~
The second gaming organisation I have been a member of, Millennial Times Gaming has allowed me the opportunity to access the realm of professional content creation and
e-sports on a level I never thought possible.
In June of 2020, I decided to leave my first gaming clan, HuRRiCane
to add my skills and influence as a gamer and YouTuber to the team at MTG.
Ever since being introduced to the
uniquely balanced fun-loving and competitive lifestyle of the MTG Fam,
I have enjoyed every second of laughter and creativity that we have brought about.
We look forward to making massive strides within the South African gaming and content creation industry, and your generous support of our venture means the world to us.

On the 12th of June 2020, I announced my resignation from HuRRiCane and joined e-sports and content creation team Millennial Times Gaming.
This is a thank you for the opportunities and support I was afforded during my time with HuRRiCane.

For those of you who followed Shenz63 Gaming pretty much since the beginning, you may recall a certain VLOG wherein I announced my joining of a gaming clan known as HuRRiCane.
You may also recall that its leader went by the name of Yorke Chetty.
When I found my place within the clan, Yorke worked with me to enter competitive gaming tournaments when I had the necessary practice. As a result of this, I was able to remain more calm in difficult game situations and make decisions in my everyday life with more conviction and confidence.
It was an honour to be a part of Yorke's venture and I am all the better for it today.
